Terms and Conditions

Welcome to GroundZero. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and CHAOSGROUND HOLDINGS LTD, a company incorporated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, United Arab Emirates, with its registered address at DD-15-134-004 - 007, Level 15, Wework Hub71, Al Khatem Tower, Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, Abu Dhabi, Al Maryah Island, United Arab Emirates ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the GroundZero application ("App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

You must be at least thirteen (13) years of age to use the App. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be verified.

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You may register using the following authentication providers:

• Epic Games Account
• Google Account
• Discord Account
• Supabase Authentication

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

You may choose a username for your account. Usernames must not be offensive, misleading, or infringe upon the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to reclaim or modify usernames at our sole discretion.

GroundZero is a game companion app that enhances your gaming experience by offering:

• Missions and challenges tied to the games you play
• Tournaments and competitive events (planned feature)
• Rewards including gift cards and in-app currency for completing activities

The App works alongside supported games to track your gameplay progress and deliver personalised challenges.

The App may feature virtual in-app currency ("GEMS" or such other name as we may designate) that can be earned through completing missions and participating in activities within the App.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Cheat, exploit bugs, use automation software, bots, hacks, or any unauthorised third-party software designed to modify or interfere with the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts, our servers, or any related systems
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the App
• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
• Use the App to collect or harvest personal information of other users
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security-related features of the App

The App collects gameplay telemetry data, including but not limited to in-game events, session statistics, match outcomes, and performance metrics. This data is collected to:

• Deliver and personalise missions and challenges
• Track mission completion and award rewards
• Improve the App and user experience
• Generate analytics for game studios (in aggregated, anonymised form only)

The App may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, including game platforms (Epic Games, Steam, etc.) and authentication providers (Google, Discord). These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of such third-party services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CHAOSGROUND HOLDINGS LTD and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CHAOSGROUND HOLDINGS LTD, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
